This is our Story

Tom and Vicki met at Denny’s restaurant in the suburbs of Chicago. They got engaged 4 months later and married in August of 1987. They lived below the poverty level as their family grew to 7 children here and 3 in heaven. As they challenged some long held beliefs about money and happiness, their world expanded and life became easier.

Even when Vicki’s repressed sexual abuse memories returned 18 years into their marriage, they have navigated the struggles, coming out stronger, peaceful and more joyful.

They still live outside of Chicago with their growing family and can be frequently heard telling each other

“I love doing life with you.”

Knowing how much childhood trauma can affect our relationships as adults, it is their mission to equip and empower committed couples to create a relationship they love.
